About MRI

Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) and Magnetic Resonance Angiography (MRA) is a diagnostic procedure that produces detailed images of the soft tissues, blood vessels and bones of the body, that other imaging modalities cannot. MRI is a safe and painless procedure, that uses no ionizing radiation. Most procedures can be completed in approximately 15- 20 minutes. MRIs are most commonly used to evaluate the brain, breast, spine, muscles, joints and tendons as well as major organs and blood vessels.

  • All of our MRI machines are designed for patient comfort, using non-claustrophobic short-bore magnets and are high field, ensuring optimum patient images.
  • All of our MRI machines are accredited by the American College of Radiology (ACR). In addition, we are proud to have doctors with the expertise to conduct specialty MRIs at all of our locations. More information about breast MRIs is included in the link below.
