About MRI
Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) and Magnetic Resonance Angiography (MRA) is a diagnostic procedure that produces detailed images of the soft tissues, blood vessels and bones of the body, that other imaging modalities cannot. MRI is a safe and painless procedure, that uses no ionizing radiation. Most procedures can be completed in approximately 15- 20 minutes. MRIs are most commonly used to evaluate the brain, breast, spine, muscles, joints and tendons as well as major organs and blood vessels.
